The Good Stuff

I wanted to take this Ten for Tuesday to focus on the good stuff. I’ve dwelt long enough on the bad, so I quit.

This one goes out to the good stuff.

1. Being a mother – my kid is the best. Look at what he gave me this past weekend.

Riley wrote and delivered this to me Sunday morning. <3

2. Having a healthy family. I know so many people cannot say this. I am truly grateful to have a healthy, able family.

I <3 this boy!

3. Living in Florida. This is January.

Postcard Inn - Florida

4. Being here for all kinds of amazing times, like when R earned his Advanced White Belt in TKD.

Advanced White Belt!

5. Good quotes. Like this one on my son’s Honest Tea (no caffeine, it’s ok).

Painfully true.

6.  Family Time! (I think there’s a theme evolving here…)

R, J and me at the bowling alley.

7. Goofing off.

Goofing off while listening to our favorite local singer.

8. Yoga. In fact, both R and J have gone to yoga with me now. R loves the kid’s class and his instructor always has great things to say about it.

I like yoga for the health – both mental and physical – benefits. We’ll see how J takes to it :) Totally cool if he doesn’t, but I’m impressed that he’s giving it a go.

9. The Internet. Seriously, without it I couldn’t write here, or chat with you folks on Twitter. I love Twitter convos.

Plus, it’s my career. So, I kinda bank on the Internet.

10. Coffee. I wouldn’t want to start my day without you.

What do you consider you’re “Good Stuff”? Let me know in the comments. We could all use more good stuff in our lives.
